I feel the laws in place for sex offenders are not strict enough and somewhat not sensible. I also feel as parents, we have to monitor our children closer. There are a few recovered offenders that have not repeated the act, but there are more that we have to be concerned about. Sadly enough, we as citizens don’t do our part to make sure the laws that are in place are being enforced unless it happens to us. We don’t look into the history of our neighbors. I don’t call it being nosy. I consider it as being safe. The other issue is that these offenders find residency and then someone with children moves in two doors down. Do we make the offenders who are established and moved on find somewhere else to live. The laws whether we like them or not have to be fair. Sure, we can find a way. But we have to approach the problem with an open mind and possibly a concrete solution. I looked into the nieghborhood in which I live before I moved there because that was one of my concerns.

It sounds to me that this could be a violation of the persons constitutional rights protecting them from being persecuted for crimes that they have paid society for. Be careful of wanting laws like this to “protect” the kids. Those that give up freedoms for safety usually end up with neither.

Last episode of season 2 called Ex and the City. The line before Big’s line is a classic one: Your girl is lovely Hubble. Taken from the movie ‘The Way We Were’. The whole episode was full of references to the film. What also happened was Miranda and Steve reunite, Samantha comes across a man with a problem of being too well endowed if you get my meaning and Charlotte confronts her fears over horseriding.
